Infernal Dispatches #3: 566

I plan on doing these updates every week or so, but this one is a little earlier than expected, simply because I wanted to write it!

My new story has been a hit, and over the past week I’ve gotten ten new followers! That means…

… we’re almost there, boys and girls! 100 more followers, and… I don’t know what I’m going to do to celebrate hitting 666. I’m open to suggestions!

I haven’t written as much this week, but I have followed through on my promise to reblog more! I’ve been reblogging under my “unbecoming fawning” tag, I even more comments queued up, and I plan to keep sharing more and more great content in the coming days.

Lest you think I’ve done nothing writing related, I also proofread a great story of @saltyteafutas‘, which I hope they will post soon! He’s a really great author, and if you’re into futa or corruption stories, you should check him out!

Finally, I have been brainstorming what my next story will be. I really love the prompts that @walkingawoken posts on twitter, particularly this one:

I’d like to write a short story—emphasis on short—with a dryad/plant girl transformation, but I suspect that I’ll do what I always do and make it several thousand words longer than the flash fic I set out to write. After all, a story about dryads and lumbermen is tapping into ALL SORTS of Unresolved Childhood Feelings about FernGully!

I’m open to suggestions about other monster girls, too! I’ve realized I have a very narrow and rather uncreative take on monster girls, and I’d like to branch out into more interesting… species? (Succubi are my forever girls, tho.) I really like @phantomoftruth‘s monster girl bestiary, especially their “reflection fiends.” I have phantom’s permission to use their ideas, so I’m mulling a longer story involving a reflection fiend, a maid, and the lady she serves, kind of inspired by “The Handmaiden.” I don’t know, though! We’ll see if it happens!
